Ivan Sedliačik, PhD, is an assistant professor at the Faculty of Economics, Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica, Slovakia. His research interests are decentralized and traditional finance, cryptocurrencies, digital assets, financial markets and investing, business cycles, monetary history and monetary systems. He lectures courses focused on cryptocurrencies, financial markets, corporate finance, financial management, introduction to finance and was deployed to several research projects and delivered trainings also in Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand. The author has published scientific papers in international and national journals, conference proceedings and contributed with chapters in international textbooks for PhD programs.
