Ing. Erik Janšto, PhD. is an assistant professor and researcher at the Faculty of Economics and Management in Nitra, specializing in the Department of Marketing, Trade, and Social Studies. His research focuses on wine marketing and consumer studies across various sectors. In recent years, he has been involved in the COMFOCUS project under Horizon 2020 (Grant No. 101005259), which pertains to the food industry. He is the author of 27 scientific publications presented at conferences and published in journals such as International Journal of Wine Business Research, AGRIS on-line Papers in Economics and Informatics, Amfiteatru economic and Frontiers in Sustainable Food Systems.
In his teaching role, he focuses on courses like Digital Marketing and Social Media, as well as Information Systems in Marketing, emphasizing the latest trends and innovations. Additionally, he serves as the webmaster for the faculty website and administers the Moodle educational platform.
