Cecília Szigeti has been working on measuring and interpreting sustainability for 25 years. She completed her PhD thesis at the Doctoral School of the University of Agricultural Sciences in Gödöllő and defended it summa cum laude. Initially, his scientific interests focused on a review of the measurement of environmental and economic performance, and then she started to focus on ecological footprinting, which was the subject of his habilitation thesis in 2013. In line with his current research area, she is a member of the Standing Interdepartmental Committee on Circular Economy of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. She is a member of the editorial board of several journals, she has more than 250 scientific publications.
