Igor Dömény is a junior lecturer at the Department of economics, University of Žilina (Slovakia). Dr. Dömény holds a PhD degree in the field of transport economics. His PhD thesis was dealing with the issue of railway passenger market deregulation from the point of social costs and socio-economic efficiency of the railway sector. Currently he is also giving seminars from macroeconomics for undergraduates in study fields economics & business and financial management at the University of Žilina.
