is a Researcher at the Institute of Legal Science, Faculty of Law, University of Latvia. Her research focuses on issues related to human rights, data protection, privacy, security, the regulation of artificial intelligence and the intersections between law and technology. She is a member of UNESCO Ad Hoc Expert Group for the Recommendation on the Ethics of Artificial Intelligence.
