Assoc. Prof. Janka Táborecká, PhD works at the Faculty of Economics, Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica, where she serves as guarantor and co-guarantor of Bachelor’s, Master’s and PhD programmes in Business Economics and Management (in Slovak and English). Her teaching, research and project activities focus on marketing and consumer behaviour, currently with emphasis on sustainability and digital transformation. She has led or contributed to over 20 scientific and practice-oriented projects (VEGA, Erasmus+, NFP) and published more than 100 outputs, including 27 indexed in Web of Science and Scopus, with 300+ citations. She is Director of the Marketing Research Centre at the international association EUMMAS (European Marketing and Management Association) and Vice-President of its Honorary Board. Her international experience includes research and project stays in China, Turkey, Germany, Spain, the UK, France, Cyprus, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, and more. She previously led the Managing Strategic Marketing module in the MBA programme at UMB in cooperation with Nottingham Trent University. At her faculty, she actively develops collaborations with business and non-profit partners at home and abroad, integrating them into teaching and research. Within the European University Alliance EMERGE, she leads the work package on community engagement, supporting systematic university-community cooperation, networking, and strengthening the third mission of universities.
