Kornélia Beličková works at the Department of Finance of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Economics in Bratislava. As a volunteer, she is a member of the Board of Directors of the Ján Cikker Foundation and the President of the Civic Association Protector Populi. about. from. In her doctoral dissertation in 1999, she was the first in the Slovak Republic to define the third sector: “The third sector is a sector operating independently in the space between the state (government) and the market (entrepreneurs), which serves public goals, has a voluntary, public benefit character and in its operation it is not tied to the decision of a state authority.” It deals with the issue of finance, the budget and the third sector in broad contexts.
