is a full professor and a rector of the Institute of Technology and Business in Ceske Budejovice, Czech Republic. In his research activities he focuses on the issues of comprehensive business evaluation, bankruptcy and creditworthiness models, financial management of companies and their valuation. His scientific activities are concentrated on mathematical modelling using neural networks. He uses his rich experience in the field of business valuation, where he works as a forensic expert in the field of Economics. His other economic specializations include: review and assessment of company transformations, valuation of intangible assets, financial assets, non-monetary deposits, investments, wages and real estate valuation.
