She has been a staff member of the Department of Humanities and her main area of interest is the regional development with regard to its sustainability. Another area of her interest is the issue of non-state non-profit organisations and the participation of citizens in public life. She has attended and completed a number of courses in management, public relations and fundraising of non-profit organisations. Besides her teaching activities, she has taken part in several research projects, especially in the area of socio-economic rural development. Her scientific publication activity focuses on civil society and regional issues. She participates in the cooperation with institution of public administration and non-profit sector and is a founding member of the Thematic Network for the Development of Social Economy in the Czech Republic. She will participate in all phases of the project including publishing continuous results.
