is the dean of the Faculty of Economics of the South-West University “Neofit Rilski” in Bulgaria and a head of the “Tourism” department at the same faculty. He is a national ECVET expert at the “National ECVET experts” project launched by the Human Resource Development Centre (HRDC) at the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy under the EU Lifelong Learning programme for promoting the European Credits for Vocational and Training (ECVET) System in Bulgaria and a representative of the South-West University “Neofit Rilski” in the working group at the Bulgarian National Agency for Vocational Education and Training (NAVET) for transforming of the state educational requirements in compliance with the (ECVET European Credits for Vocational Education and Training) system. He is also an expert of the Bulgarian Tourist Chamber on the EU financed QTEL.NET, and at the National Agency for Accreditation and Evaluation (for the Higher Educational Institutions) to the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Bulgaria.
He is and author and co-author of +70 papers indexed in scientific databases devoted to the issues of tourism marketing, tourism management, tourism innovations, applied market research and forecasting.
