Veronika Škerháková

My scientific and research activity is primarily focused on the issue of current trends in performance management in the healthcare sector regarding to its sustainability and the implementation of a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in the healthcare practice. The portfolio of her long-term researches also includes the intergenerational investigation of the attributes of online consumer behavior in the e-commerce. She is the author of a several researches published in journals indexed in WoS (CC) and Scopus databases. Her publishing activity also includes scientific monographs, university textbooks and scripts. As a part of her research activity, she currently works as the deputy leader (Assoc. Prof. Viktória Ali Taha, PhD.) in the research grant of the project VEGA 1/0575/23 – “Management of a sustainable healthcare system in the conditions of Slovakia” (research period of 2023-2026). In the past, she worked as a leader of several successful projects within the scientific research university grants like GaPU and GAMA. As a part of her pedagogical activities, she participates as a lecturer in a profile subjects of the department such as Management, Risk and Change Management, Business Ethics and Corporate Culture, Intercultural Communication in Tourism and Strategic Management. She currently covers two subjects: Performance Management and Digital Trends in HRM.
